By renting a vehicle from BikenRides, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
The minimum age to rent a bike or scooter is 20 years.
Vehicles are provided with minimal fuel, sufficient to reach the nearest fuel station.
All traffic fines, challans, or penalties incurred during the rental period are the customer’s sole responsibility.
In case of damage due to accident, mishandling, or negligence, repair costs as estimated by BikenRides’ partner workshop must be paid by the customer.
In the event of theft or total loss, the renter is liable to pay the current market value of the vehicle.
Customers must immediately inform BikenRides Support in case of any mechanical fault or breakdown.
Negligent or rash driving, drunk driving, or overspeeding (above 80 km/h) will result in a penalty of ₹1000 and possible termination of the rental.
Bookings are subject to availability, and BikenRides reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking if necessary.
The renter must not lend the bike to anyone else without prior written consent from BikenRides. If an additional rider is approved, their documents must be verified. Failure to do so will incur a ₹1000 penalty.
A security deposit (as mentioned on the website) is mandatory. Refusal to pay it will lead to cancellation without refund.
Pickup location, date, and time cannot be changed once the booking is confirmed.
Vehicles must be returned to the same location from where they were picked up. Change in drop-off point is not permitted.
Basic servicing (oil change, brake check, filter cleaning) every 1500 km is the customer’s responsibility and must be performed at an authorized service center. Failure to do so may result in a ₹1000 penalty and forfeiture of the deposit for any engine-related issues.
Only the registered customer (booking name) is authorized to ride the vehicle. Any violation will attract a ₹2000 penalty.
Accidents or damages must be reported immediately and settled before return. Repair estimates will be assessed by the authorized mechanic.
Engine warranty is covered by BikenRides, but wear-and-tear items (tyres, clutch, brakes, tubes, electrical parts) are the customer’s responsibility.
The vehicle must be returned on time. Delays beyond 30 minutes will incur a ₹100/hour late fee + daily rent.
Customers must contact support for trip extensions. Extensions are subject to availability and must be requested at least 4 hours before drop-off time.
Unauthorized extensions will result in a ₹100/hour + daily rent penalty.
If the customer continues using the vehicle after denial of an extension, a ₹500/hour + daily rent penalty will apply.
The following items are not covered under any warranty or claim:
Tyres, tubes, brake pads, clutch plates, and chain sprocket
Clutch and accelerator cables
Electrical components (spark plugs, fuses, relays, etc.)
Fuel pump and related parts
Valid and original documents are mandatory. Failure to provide valid documents will lead to automatic booking cancellation without refund.
Accepted ID proofs: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport (original copy required).
Fake or forged IDs will be reported to local authorities.
A valid Driving License must be presented physically or via the DigiLocker app. Photos or screenshots are not accepted.
Learner’s Licenses are not valid for rentals.
Foreign nationals must submit one original ID proof, along with a photo of their International Driving Permit (IDP) and passport verification.
A refundable security deposit must be paid in full at the time of pickup.
Deposits will not be adjusted against rental extensions or delivery charges.
Failure to pay the deposit will result in booking cancellation without refund.
Refunds are processed after vehicle inspection, subject to no damages, late returns, or unpaid penalties.
Extensions are allowed only after confirmation from BikenRides and are subject to vehicle availability.
The customer must pay the full rental amount for the extended period as informed by the agent.
Extensions without prior approval or payment will result in a ₹100/hour + daily rent penalty.
All bookings follow a strict reservation system, meaning every vehicle is pre-scheduled before and after your selected slot.
Important:
No refund will be provided after the trip has started or for early return or mid-trip cancellation.
80% refund – if cancelled 5 days or more before pickup.
50% refund – if cancelled 3–5 days before pickup.
0% refund – if cancelled within 0–3 days of pickup.
(Convenience fees, payment gateway charges, and taxes are non-refundable.)
The advance amount is non-refundable, except in cases where BikenRides cannot provide the booked vehicle (in which case a full refund will be issued).
Booking is cancelled at or after the scheduled pickup time.
The customer fails to show up for pickup.
Invalid, incomplete, or fake documents are submitted.
The customer does not meet the minimum age or license requirements.
Any misuse of website glitches, promo codes, or system bugs occurs.
Any request to change pickup/return date, time, or vehicle type will be reviewed case-by-case and may include additional charges.
